We calculate our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in scopes 1, 2, and 3. We are working to identify and implement targets and measures across the entire group. In addition to our environmental policies and procedures, continuous efforts to improve climate mitigation and adaptation will further strengthen our environmental and climate contributions.
By optimizing production, energy efficiency, and circularity, we minimize our environmental impact. We are committed to reducing emissions within our operations and supply chain.
We measure our greenhouse gas emissions from our own production and supply chain (Scopes 1-3).
In 2023, we reduced total emissions by 20.2% compared to 2022. Emissions per square meter produced were also reduced by 3% compared to 2022.

Parts of our supply chain are highly energy-intensive and require high temperatures, such as in the production and welding of products. By 2030, our goal is to achieve a 20% reduction in electricity consumption per square meter in production facilities in Norway, Turkey, and Poland.

All our facilities have implemented environmental guidelines and procedures in line with national regulations. These guidelines are monitored locally by production management and evaluated as part of the planning for next year’s production.
